SURVIVAL HOME BUSINESS - Reconditioning Batteries

The Perfect Home Business in a Bad Economy:
Learn How to Recondition Batteries for Profit

I don’t know about you, but with the economy as bad as it is, I am always on the lookout for a way to make some extra money or to save some money. My “survival antennae” go up when I see something that could be a really good side business, done at home, which requires very little start-up costs, and could be a boon in a prolonged grid-down scenario. It’s reconditioning used batteries for profit.

First off, all I ever knew about batteries was that they were filled with some kind of acid and held an electrical charge and periodically lost their charge – usually at just the wrong moment. How many times have you needed at least one “jump” because your car battery was dead? Eventually, batteries do wear out and have been simply thrown away. Batteries of all types are chucked into landfills all across the country. But “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” and that’s a perfect description for this easy-to-learn business.

Before jumping in head first however, you will need some specialized knowledge and that’s what you will learn with the opportunity package from Reconditioning Batteries.

For example, not all batteries are salvageable. Reconditioning Batteries will teach you which ones can be fixed and re-used. Also, the typical car battery will last about 3 to 4 years before it won’t hold a charge anymore. It doesn’t hold a charge anymore because the lead plates inside it have become crusted-over with a heavy layer of lead sulphate, and that keeps the plates from being good electrical conductors. Since it can't be charged again, it is considered a dead battery and simply thrown away.

What is the secret to this business? There are ways to remove the encrusted sulphation off the lead plates so that it dissolves back into the sulphuric acid solution. The plates are then clean again and the battery is restored to 100% usable condition. Knowing just how to restore these dead batteries can be a very lucrative way to earn money and provide a much-needed service.

There are some safety issues with this business which you will need to address, but sensible precautions will keep things safe. However, if you are at all squeamish about handling such items, then this is not for you. But for you DIY types, this could be just the ticket you’ve been looking for. If you are currently unemployed, reconditioning batteries seems to me a great way to make your own job. I also see it as a way for responsible teenagers and college students to earn extra money, especially if they have not been able to find a part-time job.

Any way you look at it, the demand for reconditioned batteries is going up. There are many different types of batteries that can be re-claimed and sold. With more and more folks setting up their own home solar power systems, knowing how to reclaim the deep-cycle marine batteries can also be extremely profitable. Rejuvenating old, dead batteries to be 100% usable again is a great way to help the environment. Every battery saved from going into a landfill is one less battery in the landfill.

RECONDITIONING BATTERIES is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
as a HOME BUSINESS.

With the economy being as bad as it is, and new batteries being as expensive as they are, selling a fully-usable 100% reconditioned battery at a price less than a new battery - but at a price that still makes you a very nice profit - is a win-win scenario for everyone!

SURVIVAL GARDENING FOR APARTMENT DWELLERS

How Small Container Gardens Can Save You Money And Your Life!

There’s no denying we live in uncertain economic times. Everyday financial experts pronounce another wave of bank failures, home foreclosures, job losses and global economic woe. Survival-minded people are implementing every way possible to minimize their losses, shore up their resources and live as frugally as possible. The good news is, personal food production is one area that doesn’t cost much money to start (pennies really), and can produce HUGE results, saving you a ton of money on your grocery bill. If you can grow 30 pounds of tomatoes, that’s 30 pounds of tomatoes you didn’t buy at the grocery store. Don’t fall for the belief that you need a big plot of land to produce big results with your crops. The truth is you don’t need a large garden to grow your own food. Even if you rent an apartment, you can grow enough food in containers to dramatically lower your food bill every month, and quite possibly feed you, your family and friends.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND: FOOD4WEALTH™

One of the easiest methods of food production is found in the Food4Wealth™ system, which shows you how to grow food that you can harvest every single day of the year, no matter where you live. This method is easily adapted to container gardening for apartment dwellers or for those who wish to utilize every inch of available space to grow their own fresh, organic vegetables. Every vegetable you can produce yourself is one less vegetable you buy at inflated prices at your local grocery store. And you can feel confident in the quality of your own home-grown organic foods, instead of being dependent on foreign imports, food recalls and tainted products.

Jonathan White, Environmental Scientist and Horticulturalist and creator of Food4Wealth™ has produced a method for growing food that is near fool-proof and produces an abundance of food from small spaces. Moreover, once your garden is started, it requires very little on-going labor to grow and continue to benefit from year-‘round.

FOOD4WEALTH™ is detailed in book format and short video tutorials - over 60 minutes of hands-on, step by step instructions - showing you every step of the way, so that you can see exactly what you should be doing to get amazing results for yourself.

What This Blog Is All About

This is a blog about survival prepping from the viewpoint of a single women who is "50-plus" years old. I started prepping in 2002, and have become familiar with just about every survival blog out there. Curiously, most are written by married men. By contrast, I am single by choice. The Apostle Paul says being single is better than being married because one can devote more time to God's work without the added distractions of married life. This also means I have been stockpiling my prepping materials without a husband's income, so this blog will place an emphasis on proper planning, how to prioritize your purchases, and how to pay for it all on a tiny budget.

I welcome feedback of all kinds - especially those who wish to add their 2-cents. There is only one Universal Perspective, and it's not mine. Which leads to Survival Prep Step #1: Get in the right mind set. What is the right mind set? If you haven't already, get right with God. Acknowledge that you are a sinner, repent of those sins and ask Jesus into your life and heart. The Bible says "...fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10)." I urge you to take the first step to wisdom.
